Maggiano's Little Italy Wow. What a great restaurant! You're treated like royalty, but don't worry... the whole experience is fairly inexpensive. When we sat down, my dining partner and I were warmly greeted & given fresh bread (REALLY good bread), and a mixture of oils for dipping. Our watiress was very friendly & made us feel at home. The lunch menu presented to you is a seperate menu from the FAMILY STYLE meals. So, be sure to ask for this seperate menu. We opted for the FAMILY STYLE. Myself.. caesar salad, 4 cheese ravioli in a pesto-alfredo sauce, veal parmesian, and spumoni My partner.. casesar salad, veal/mushroom ravioli, chicken parmesian, and fudge ice cream dessert (it had a NAME, just cant recall it). Well, the salads arrived... a hearty portion of crisp fresh greens in a chilled bowl. I had a feeling everything was going to be a good sized portion, so we each ate 1/2 our salad & took remaining home. Next, was pasta. My friend says his was good. Mine (4 cheese with the pesto/alf sauce)... my gosh, superb!! Tender pillows stuffed with a heavenly mix of cheeses. Sooo good. Then, chicken parmesian for my friend - he loved it. Mine was Veal parmigiana .. this was a veal CUTLET (not a patty), really good flavor. We were getting pretty full by this point. The waitress came by and asked us what we would like seconds of? What? What? (( confused )) I did a double take. Well, it's true, they give you SECONDS of anything that you ordered!!!! She said she can bring out the desserts if we didnt care for seconds. Well, I adjusted my belt and did a second plate of the ravioli. Soooo good. My friend got a head start on his mount everest dessert & i finished my ravioli (again, he he). Finally, got my dessert, it was spumoni. And, no, they dont give you a single scoop. It's three jumbo scoops. Very good spumoni!!! I did a few bites then threw in the towel. We didnt have a certificate and didn't mind either! There was plenty of Sinatra & Tony Bennet heard overhead. Linen table cloths. Drinks and bread refilled OFTEN. A first class operation! EnviroTile & Restoration Cleaning This process is absolutely amazing! The grout on my floor tiles was a dark brown when they started the cleaning and the original light tan when they finished. It was quick and easy process and no fumes! Leanne Miller

Aveda Institute Las Vegas I had a superb Self-Renewal Face and Body Experience at the Aveda Institute this past weekend. The facility is very clean and the staff is welcoming. When you walk in the door you are immediately given a warm and refreshing cloth to wipe your face and hands. You are then offered coffee or water. They then escort you to the changing room where you don a robe and wrap and prepare for the service. While you wait, you sit in a candle lit room where you receive a complimentary warm foot bath while completing the paperwork. Tondi conducted my facial in a very professional manner. She determined what my needs were and then established the appropriate aroma (eucalyptus) for my facial. I was quite relaxed afterward and my face glowed the entire day. I recommend trying them out - I will certainly go back again. Dave Dave

Plaza Books What a great find. This shop is organized, nice decor, friendly service, great prices, and updated selection. It really doesn't look like the stereotype of a "used book store" at all ! bought a couple audio books on CD - really new ones at great prices, and a couple beautiful book covers as Christmas gifts. Arthur Murray Dance Studios My husband and I loved Arthur Murray, welearned three basic dances in 3 weeks. The instructor had a lot of patience, very professional and made these dances fun and not hard to do. There were times the instructor took over one hour to teach extra steps to the dances, which meant a lot and gave my husband a excuse to be romantic and more confident in his ability to dance. Going to Arthur Murray's Dance studio gave us the opportunity to become being closer by taking these lessons is what a lot of relationships need, especially when going out for special occasions/weddings and actually knowing how to dance. Body Perfect Salon I first purchased a certificate for a pedicure at Body Perfect several months ago and nobody has touched my feet since!!! The pedicure was a wonderful totally pampering experience. There is a private room with just two chairs and relaxing music. The pedicure itself was a full hour with a nice massage and incredible, all natural products. The sugar scrub and oil are amazing. Since then I've sent a co-worker there who also loved it, and her sister who also loved it. I've also started getting my hair cut and styled at the Body Perfect with Richard who is wonderful and LISTENS to you. Body Perfect also goes the extra mile in service, offering you a soft drink, coffee, or water when you arrive and they send "thank you" discounts in the mail all the time! I highly recommend this place and I go back frequently without a certificate - the service is truly the best! They are an up-scale, beautiful salon without the intimidation of one (or the prices!) Palermo Pizza Kitchen This is the best pizza places in Las Vegas. I grow up in NYC and ate pizza almost everyday so I consider myself knowledgable. Palermo is a hidden treasure. Lauren

Bagel Café The Bagel Cafe is where to go in Vegas when looking for a back east style bakery and deli. They have excellent overtuffed sandwiches. They have great baked goods like rye breads, challah breads, black & white cookies, and rugulah pastries. They also have a hearty chicken soup I only wish I could make as good at home. Diane M

Las Vegas Hilton - Menopause the Musical Menopause the Musical was awesome! My friend planned a special day for my birthday, so I wanted to do something great for hers too! So I purchased tickets to Menopause!!! It was great! The cast was fun, the music was great and I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time! My friend had a great time dancing on stage at the end of the show! The number of men in the showroom surprised me, but they were laughing as hard as the women! Great show for everyone!!! B. Crook

Mrs. Williams Diabetic Delight I visited this establishment this past Saturday and very much enjoyed their pastries. You can't even tell that their pastries are sugar less! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The prices are great and very competitive with other bakeries and delicatessens. I would definitely recommend this establishment to everyone, no matter if you have diabetes, are looking for a low-sugar treat, or just love pastries! Rhonda

Joe's New York Pizza Anyone out there looking for REAL NY style pizza? I’m talking a perfect thin crust with an authentic pizza sauce recipe and just the right amount of real cheese. Then you’ve got to try Joe’s NY Pizza. Hey, I’m a transplant from the east coast (New Jersey to be exact) and eventually you get to "jonesing" for a REAL NY pizza. Many claim to get the formula right and a few pizzerias make a fair attempt, but not like Joe’s NY Pizza. Best of all, Joe’s NY Pizza is reasonably priced. You can get a pizza as big as a manhole cover for what some places charge for a medium. Check them out. You’ll be glad you did. Tom Kroplinski

Coyote's N.Y. Deli Coyote Deli has great sandwiches. I am from NYC and I LOVE pastrami sandwiches. Their pastrami is the best I had in Las Vegas, bar none. And I have tried them all. Other places you get pastrami that is great tasting but fatty or lean and bland. Coyote Deli has great tasting lean meat. Plus lots of it too! John Hillbrook

Body Perfect Salon This salon is amazing. The service is second to none. I received a wonderful cut and style. The staff is attentive and friendly. They even send you specials for fututre visits. You will not be sorry to try it & like me you'll be hooked. Beth Johnson

Don Antonios Pizzeria What a great restaurant! New York style, with a large selection of pasta's & Pizza's. I could not believe how thick the Sicilian pizza is and the Chicago style is even thicker. Good prices, excellent service, quaint little place. We were there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Gotta try this one! Cherise

Nevada Chicken Café They have the best Rotisserie chicken ever. Their place is very clean and everyone is so friendly. They serve fast. They have a nice food selection. I am going back. niki

South West Car Wash If you want a real car wash, then go here. They get you out FAST, and the car is done right. Hand Wax is great over here. They only use the finest soaps. BEST CAR WASH! mann

Falcon Ridge Golf Course I played a round at Falcon Ridge Golf Course recently and wanted you to know what a great time I had. First, people were super friendly and facility was beautiful- upscale but not stuffy. What I really enjoyed though most was the course itself- it is truly a unique design and one that was really fun. What makes it most unique are all of the altitude changes on the course. At one point. I drove 300 yards (yes the altitude helped- it was probably a 250 foot drop!) from the top of a hill with spectacular views down into a valley on to the fairway. All of the holes are built into the natural terrain- hills and gorges- and the course and greens were is exceptional condition. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends. Kevin

Ritters Frozen Custard We had been to Ritter's before and this last visit was GREAT! They had two flavors that we loved. We found out that their Banana Ice cream was made with REAL FRESH banana's on site! The turtle was WAY better than we remembered, we'll be back! Silvia

Evolve Salon w/Elizabeth Adams Liz did a wonderful job and actually took time to style my hair and explain different products that I could use on my hair to achieve different looks. The Fashionistas at The Empire Ballroom WOW! What a great show! Talented Dancers, neat and exotic costumes, cool acrobatics, great music, interestingly enough they have a live drummer for part of the music, small intimate theatre. FUN FUN FUN! Sherry

Canyon Falls Spa-Hair by Javier I recently went in and had my hair done by Javier and I could not be happier. He was courteous and treated me great. I went in with no idea what I wanted to do with my style or color and he was able to direct me on both. He gave me a look that I have never even considered and now love. T.C.'s Rib Crib We ate at TC's Rib Crib last night, and it was GREAT!!! We tried the pulled pork sammie and it was wonderful. The macaroni and cheese was like nothing I have tasted and the potatoe salad was delicious. The place was packed with "regulars". This is a great find...everyone should try it! Susan Fuhr

Pizza Caffe I love thin crust pizza. This place is perfect. The pizzas taste great. Their 12 inch pizzas have more cheese than most 15 inch pizzas . It is close to Sunset Park and my family and I will be visiting here again . Ed Bond

Evos My family and I went to Evos. The food was good. My kids enjoyed the food a lot. The shakes I think I enjoyed the most. Its a healthy alternative instead of the normal fast food. The prices were good, and the portions were a little small for my growing boys but for me they were just fine. Thank you Rachelle Evos!

Deli Den - NY Style Deli I went to Deli Den after hearing about them--They were awesome--the bagels were wonderful, the matzo ball chicken soup was great as well, but the sandwiches--Holy Cow! Literally at least 5 inches thick--probably the biggest sandwich I have seen in town--reminded me of Carnegie Deli in NY. They also have fantastic baked goods--they had a strawberry/coconut cake that was out of this world! I can't wait to go back.. Diane

Lake Mancos Ranch - Mancos, Co. If you have ever thought about going on a ranch vacation, this trip is one you should definitely take advantage of. This was one of the BEST vacations I have ever taken with my family!! If you are fortunate enough to get to travel to Colorado and stay at this ranch, you will not forget it! The area is amazing, the people are so nice and the food is fantastic!! It took about 9-10 hours to drive there from Vegas. My husband and I got to ride together while the kids had their own wranglers and counselors. We went riding, white water rafting, hiking, fishing and had cookouts. It was such a great trip!!! Vegas Mob Tour.com I really enjoyed the Vegas Mob Tour, it was entertaining and educational on the history of the mob in Las Vegas. Guru Enterprisess-Mobile Tech Just had to let you know what a great company this is.... My family and I REALLY messed up our computer and in an attempted to "fix" it we made it even worse. I call Michael at Guru Enterprises in a panic this morning and he reassured me that he would do everything he could to return our computer to working order. He asked for the most convenient time for my family, when I told him ASAP he scheduled an appointment with me this afternoon, a short time later he called to say he had just finished a job early and even thought he was all the way in Summerlin (as opposed to our Henderson location) he would be over in 40 minutes. Almost 40 minutes exactly (he was a little early) he arrived. He was polite and professional and worked very hard to fix the repairs made by our family. It took him a 2 1/2 hours and he had our computer up and running, better than before. We were prepared to pay a few hundred dollars for the repairs and were pleasantly surprised to see the VERY low price on the invoice. After he deducted my Radio Shopping Show certificate, it cost less than a fast food meal for our family to have the computer repaired. The whole time Michael was in my home I felt comfortable with him, he answered my many questions, with patience and knowledge. We even discussed having our "old" computer checked out to get it running for our 8 year old daughter to load her games on and were astonished by the price he quoted us. We asked for a few extra business cards and will be handing them out to friends and family. If you need computer, repairs, upgrades or just a good computer "tune-up' call them they are GREAT! And I really respect that they offer Military and Senior discounts (even though we did not qualify for either). Marie Guru Enterprises
