Aveda Institute Las Vegas I had a superb Self-Renewal Face and Body Experience at the Aveda Institute this past weekend. The facility is very clean and the staff is welcoming. When you walk in the door you are immediately given a warm and refreshing cloth to wipe your face and hands. You are then offered coffee or water. They then escort you to the changing room where you don a robe and wrap and prepare for the service. While you wait, you sit in a candle lit room where you receive a complimentary warm foot bath while completing the paperwork. Tondi conducted my facial in a very professional manner. She determined what my needs were and then established the appropriate aroma (eucalyptus) for my facial. I was quite relaxed afterward and my face glowed the entire day. I recommend trying them out - I will certainly go back again. Dave Dave

Short Bus Comics I wanted to tell you how wonderful it is to see a show in town that isn't focused on how drunk the audience gets, or how much they charge for tickets- these pros make you laugh, HARD! Their are so many cabaret comedy shows in Europe and to find one here in the states that is just filled with bright up and coming stars, people who have tv credits, and those who are in between- who are funny, without always talking about "ONE" thing- just a rare treat. Unlike any Variety show I've ever seen- the comics are smart, warm, and seem genuinely happy to be performing. I can't say that about manys shows in town. Cathe Jones

Flamingo Hotel & Casino - Vinnie Favorito Once again, our seats were just off the center stage at the second table. As Vinnie went about the show, we were in plain sight! My family, along with many others, became a comedy topic for the night. Although I would have enjoyed it more without the "language," he was really funny. Vinnie sure has a gift for turning just a little bit of information into a good laugh. We bought the CD of the night's show. The next day, we ran into a couple that had been at this show too and were also a topic of discussion. We all had a good laugh together. I am sure we will listen to the CD for a good laugh with our friend when there aren't any kids around. Highly recommended for those with a good sense of humor and willing to be a topic of discussion. Bob's Eastside Deli Bob's Eastside Deli has great sandwiches. Better than ALL those sandwich shop chains in Las Vegas . It is an unassuming place that is a little hard to find but well worth it. My family and I have frequented Bob's many times since they first were on KSHP years ago. Ray M.

Lighthouse Lodge & Suites-Pacific Grove,CA We just returned from a trip to California. First, we stayed in Pismo Beach at the Mission Valley Inn using our 2-night KSHP certificate, then drove up the coastline to Pacific Grove for two nights at the Lighthouse Lodge & Suite ! A fabulous getaway. Both resorts were awesome -- great locations, all amenities, including complimentary wine in the afternoons and full breakfast each morning. We will defintely be going back -- Thanks, KSHP. Dolores

Hotel Park City- Park City, UT This hotel is absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I went for 4 nights and we could not believe the area. Each room has a balcony that overlooks beautiful mountains, the pool and golf course. They do not spare one detail! The pool and spa are fantastic along with a great workout room. The Ruth's Chris Steak House is on the property. The employees were so nice and helpful! There is so much to do in the area. Make sure you go next door to the Mountain Resort and ride the Alpine Slide, the Alpine Coaster and the ZIP LINE! And visit the Olympic Park where you can watch future olympians practice ski jumping into a large pool. If you like to hike or bike, you won't find a better place than Park City. We drove some amazing scenic drives and visited the Timpanogos Cave, but be prepared for a strenuous 1100 foot elevated hike to the cave. But it is worth it! And visit Sundance Resort while you are there. There is an incredible hike to Stewart Falls after first riding a ski lift from Sundance. The hike is about 3 miles round trip and the falls are fantastic! I am so glad we took this trip! Andrea Marcum

Best Western Abbey Inn & Suites - St,George,UT We are just back form a great stay at the Abbey Inn. The location was perfect for visiting Zion National Park about 30 minutes away. Our room was very nice with a sitting area and small kitchen area. Their breakfast buffet was way above and beyond our expectations. Hot foods and plenty of interesting choices. The staff was very helpful. Lots of restaurants in the area too. Carol

Hotel Park City- Park City, UT We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Park City. Our accomodations were beautiful and beyond anything we could have imagined. It wasFirst Class in every aspect. We ate at Ruths Chris on our last night and enjoyed every bite and every minute. The couple next to us was getting engaged and it was fun watch the nervous young man. Out of Africa Wildlife Park - Camp Verde,AZ I have been to the Out Of Africa Park . What a find!! If you enjoy animals and would love to see them in their large habitats playing and interacting with one another,this is the most enjoyable way to spend a day. Mi Peru South American Grill My wife & I had dinner at the restaurant on Sunday night-09/27/2009. I tried the Chica Morada, the purple corn drink- it was delicious. Your ceviche had tantalized our tastebuds, it was truly excellent & I hate raw fish or sushi. We liked the pickled vegetables. The creamy green dipping sauce, that came with the bread, is still on my mind. Do you sell it?? My wife had a fish entree & I had a beef entree. Both were outstanding!! Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers I bet I have tried every hamburger in town. Maybe I might have missed a burger in a fancy Italian restaurant but for good reason. D Mobile Massage & Wellness This is a "can't be beat" massage! He does so many extra things to make it the best hour you've ever had. Lazy Joe's Fish & Chips Lazy Joe's is a diamond in the rough. We found it by accident one Sunday and were very impressed. The owner is committed to serving the freshest seafood and it's all GLUTEN-FREE! The chicken strips batter was dairy, egg, and gluten free and this is very important to our family. His shrimp was huge and so fresh. I highly recommend giving this shop a try. They are so friendly. You won't regret it. Ryan

Nevada Chicken Café I agree with Niki. This place has the best chicken you've ever tasted. The first time I went in, there was this guy sitting in a table just raving about the food. He couldn't believe how good the chicken tasted. I thought the guy was lose on his rocker until I got my plate. OMG. Seriously. This chicken is fantastic. Actually, everything I've eaten here, all of the sides, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, ribs, have all been incredible. Ryan

Terrible's Town Casino & Bowl I have taken my teenage son bowling on several occasions. The staff is very friendly. They answer any questions and will accommodate you any way they can. The food portions are generous and the food taste good. We enjoy coming down there every time. Holmes

Wyndham Resort - Fantasea Resorts (Brigantine, NJ) My family stayed here last year. We are orginally from N J. Brigantine is next door to Atlantic City. Not that people from Las Vegas would necessary want to go to A. C but we used this place as a jumping point to other places. Wildwood and their great beach is an hour south, Philadelphia is a couple hours west. NYC is 3 hours north, Our friends in Toms River were 90 minutes away. The kitchenette was great. We got to have our breakfasts early each morning in the room. The room was nice and big. We weren't bumping into each other. Ray M

Namaste Indian Cuisine By far the best, most flavorful Indian food in Las Vegas. The buffet is amazing and offers a variety of even vegetarian dishes. I have also took a friend who lived in India for a while and she was very impressed with the authenticity of all their food. Reminded her of being in India again, and now her favorite Las Vegas Indian restaurant (and she has been to every single one!). Very affordable too! Have gone about 6 times in the past few months. Leticia's Mexican Cocina Super attentive staff, exceptionally good food. Not your basic Mexican restaurant. Super fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, served with a smile and somewhat different than typical valley Mexican. My wife and I have been going since they opened. We have had everything on the menu. We find no fault with the service, the food, the ambiance (a little noisy) but who cares and the friendliness of the staff and fellow diners. Step By Step Dance Studio I got a 6 month certificate and have learned more than I could have ever imagined in my first 6 weeks. I've been to other well known studios but Step By Step is by far the best of the bunch. I am learning the Fox Trot, East Coast and West Coast Swing, Rumba, Samba, Salsa, Merengue, and a few others. They have the best dance floor in town and I have met some of the friendliest people than I have in my 10 years since I have lived in Las Vegas. I can't say enough about the owners Jim and Josie Clark and all the staff...they go the extra mile. Please go to stepbysteplv.com and then come visit the studio located on Tropicana and Spencer next to the Liberace Museum. If you don't want to take private lessons right away you may be more comfortable taking group classes and coming to the dance parties every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night. If you come to the studio just once a week you will discover potential within yourself that you may have never realized. If you feel you are the most confident person in the world then dancing might prove to be a challenge. For example, I play a lot of Basketball and thought my footwork was perfect but Ballroom Dancing is a whole different Ball Game! Now I am enjoying the challenge of remembering specific steps and patterns for each dance. If you are not a competitive person and just want to try something different then I recommend sticking with one dance such as the Salsa. The bottom line is Ballroom Dancing has something to offer anyone with the ability to move! N.A.M.

Andy's Carpet Cleaning I purchased a ‘2 Room’ carpet cleaning from you. Andy’s Carpet Cleaning did a wonderful and speedy job on 4 rooms and a lengthy hall area. I was VERY PLEASED with the speed and wonderful work that was done. The carpet was nearly dry when completed and I had him come back to do 2 carpet area replacement jobs. Quizno's - Cheyenne & Rampart I wanted to just thank you for the wonderful vacations that I took to Cabo and Mazatlan, Mexico. In January I took my sister to Cabo to the PB Sunset Beach Resort. Fantastic! Excellent food, friendly staff, awesome spa services, beautiful accommodations, more swimming pools than we would ever swim in over a 4 day span, and great jacuzzis. This past weekend 5 of my friends and I went to PB Emerald Bay. Again a fantastic experience!!! We had a blast. The pools were gorgeous, drinks were ever flowing and tasty, fantastic shrimp, lobster and fillet mignon, stunning accommodations and swimming pools. Arthur Murray Dance Studios My husband and I loved Arthur Murray, welearned three basic dances in 3 weeks. The instructor had a lot of patience, very professional and made these dances fun and not hard to do. There were times the instructor took over one hour to teach extra steps to the dances, which meant a lot and gave my husband a excuse to be romantic and more confident in his ability to dance. Going to Arthur Murray's Dance studio gave us the opportunity to become being closer by taking these lessons is what a lot of relationships need, especially when going out for special occasions/weddings and actually knowing how to dance. Lux Bus America II have traveled Lux Bus America many times. It has always been a very relaxing experience. The driver and all the staff are very caring and professional. Joe's New York Pizza Anyone out there looking for REAL NY style pizza? I’m talking a perfect thin crust with an authentic pizza sauce recipe and just the right amount of real cheese. Then you’ve got to try Joe’s NY Pizza. Hey, I’m a transplant from the east coast (New Jersey to be exact) and eventually you get to "jonesing" for a REAL NY pizza. Many claim to get the formula right and a few pizzerias make a fair attempt, but not like Joe’s NY Pizza. Best of all, Joe’s NY Pizza is reasonably priced. You can get a pizza as big as a manhole cover for what some places charge for a medium. Check them out. You’ll be glad you did. Tom Kroplinski

Baby's First Image The office is beautiful, spa-like, and very relaxing plus they have a HUGE viewing room that will accomodate a number of guests. Create - Gourmet Burgers, Frozen Custard I have gone here a few times. I am so impressed with the quality and taste, not to mention the extreme friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. The burgers are sublime and since you can customize, everyone is happy. They have vegetarian choices as well! The BEST. Literaly worth the drive across town for me to go here. Lighthouse Lodge & Suites-Pacific Grove,CA Oh this place is great. Absolutely charming and an awesome location to explore Monterrey, Carmel, and the Big Sur area. Rooms a newly redone with great bedding, high "exposed" ceilings, granite bath, etc. A cozy fireplace too! Breakfast was great with hot eggs/sausage, etc and then the afternoon BBQ with hamburgers, salads, etc was very nice too. We didn't need to eat anywhere else! What a deal---jump on it! Kathy Allen

Red Rock Fencing Center This is a great place to learn all the blades of fencing. My child has always wanted to do fencing and the person who does the introduction course is the best I have ever seen with adults and kids alike.
